Entitledto launch website to help Housing Benefit claimants

  

 

We are getting in contact to tell you about our new website to help people affected by changes to Housing Benefit. The site is available free of charge at www.HBupdate.com.

The new site provides an alternative to the government's LHA Direct website. But as well as being much easier to use, www.HBupdate.com also tells people how next year’s changes to Housing Benefit will affect them personally.

We would be grateful for your feedback on the site, and for any other comments you have. We constantly try to improve our calculators, and your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve the service we provide.

Benefit and tax rates for 2011/12 are likely to be confirmed in the Budget, which will take place on 23rd March. These new rates and other reforms coming into effect in April 2011 will be included in the calculator in the days following the Budget. We will contact you again when we have updated the site.
