Course on the Team Around the Child System

  TAC 2-day course

The Team Around the Child approach (TAC) has become very popular in the UK in recent years but it is not always used properly. In some cases, large meetings without parents present are being dressed up as ‘TAC’ meetings.

There is a 2-day course on the TAC System in London in October to present TAC in its original form as:

a small collaborative team for infants with complex needs
  • the family-owned antidote to confusion and time-wasting

I hope this is relevant to your needs. The details are as follows:

The Team Around the Child System

taking the strain off infants, families and practitioners

Tuesday 12th & Wednesday 13th October, 2010 at Friends Meeting House, Euston Road, London (Near Euston and St. Pancras stations.)

The 2-day course is for people who are involved with babies and young children who require on-going multiple interventions because of disabilities and special needs in development and learning. People are invited to attend from statutory health, education and social services, from the voluntary and private sectors, from disability and campaigning organisations, and from parent groups.

The cost is £295.00 (Not including accommodation.) Delegates are welcome from all countries. Please contact p.limbrick@virgin.net for the full electronic information pack and booking form.
