The Rickshaw Romp!

The Opportunity
Charity Explorers is currently recruiting teams of two for a once in a lifetime charity trip across India to raise vital funds for the Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy. The trip takes place from 4th - 24th September from Trivandrum in Kerala (Southern tip of India) to Amritsar in the Northern Punjab. These trips are self-guided, self-paced tours with no itinerary or pre-booked hotels. The challenge is to plan and
execute a 4000km journey across the length of India in an Auto Rickshaw - a traditional India taxi - with a top speed of 35mph. This amazing adventure will provide the opportunity to experience India's most beautiful sights and meet its extraordinary people along the way. We are calling these trips 'Rickshaw Romps'!

Charity
It costs £450,000 a year for the Dame Vera Lynn Trust to continue its valuable work for children with cerebral palsy. The charity receives no statutory funding and all money has to be completely raised through public donations and charity fundraising trips such as this Rickshaw Romp.

What next?
This opportunity is a great way for your business or organization to raise money for an incredibly worthwhile cause whilst also fulfilling any charity or social responsibility objectives your business may have set. It is the ultimate challenge requiring teamwork, stamina, planning and a need to succeed. Participants would also generate good local publicity for their employer.
