uhad2bthere has a new name ... Again!

It surprising what you find in your inbox on a Sunday afternoon ... a message from the CEO of the DD Group who have the domain disabilitydirect.com.

Below is the message and my reply. Sometimes its just not worth arguing.

Further to your request to liaise via email, I am happy to discuss options
with you although I cannot see any solutions to this matter the way things

Martin who runs one of our subsidiary companies, you were well aware of the existence of a disability information service operating under the "Disability Direct" banner which is my main difficulty in trying to understand the logic behind such a decision.

Please confirm your thoughts on this matter within 3 days. I must advise
that failure to reach a positive solution may result in matters being
referred to our legal team.

Dear Amo,

Thank you for making contact with me.

It  was never my intention to detract from the valuable service you provide
to your clients. As I genuinely considered that while operating in the same
field  of interest my site was sufficiently different to avoid unnecessary
confusion.

However, as you clearly do not agree, I will have to rethink the name.

Your threat of seeking legal advice is both unkind and completely
unnecessary at this point. Particularly given that from a legal standpoint I
have done nothing to warrant such a response.  I have neither
miss-represented myself or attempted to deceive any body about my services.

As I have said I will look at renaming the site, despite the fact that it
burdens me with yet another three months of work to change ever page, blog, graphic and Facebook page. As a result it will take some time to see any
effect.
