Abstracts are invited for the 2010 Disability History conference being held in the UK at the University of Central Lancashire on June 25th and 26th. Under the title 'Disability history: looking forward to a better past?', the conference seeks to address the past, present and future directions of disability history, as well as presenting the latest research and perspectives from within the discipline. Confirmed plenary speakers include Professor Cathy Kudlick from the US and Professor Eva Simonsen from Norway.
Abstracts of 250 words should be submitted to the conference convenor Dr Martin Atherton at matherton1@uclan.ac.uk by March 31st 2010.
