CRICKET and football were just some of the activities enjoyed by children at a disability sports fun day held on Tuesday April 7.
The event, run by Thurrock Council's Sports and Leisure team, was part of a programme that followed a packed session that took place on the previous Saturday.
In conjunction with the Sunshine Centre the event was held at the Treetops school in Grays.
Children who attended had the opportunity to take part in coaching sessions covering a variety of activities including cricket, football and other ball games.
Chelsea FC provided the football session with the college manning the multi-activity circuit.
Stewart Rutland, Sports Development officer for Thurrock Council, Stewart Rutland, said: "It was a really positive day with the children and adults enjoying themselves. "It was really rewarding to see the children enjoying themselves and taking part."
